SHOCKING!! Popular Kaduna pastor sentenced for human trafficking



Well known Kaduna-based Pastor, Bawa Madaki has been condemned to 14 years detainment by a Nasarawa High Court for human trafficking. 

Madaki was condemned without an alternative of fine in a judgment conveyed by Justice Haruna Offor at the court sitting in the Mararaba zone. 

It was assembled that 48-year-old Madaki was captured by the police in May 2015 preceding he was given over to agents of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons. 

The minister was charged on two tallies of falsely obtaining the two underage kids from their folks in the Zanzo Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State. 

The NAPTIP Head of Press and Public Relations, Josiah Emerole, said Madaki's activities negated Section 19 (e) of the Trafficking in Persons (Prohibition) Law Enforcement and Administration Act. 

Emerole stated, "A priest, Pastor Bawa Madaki, from Kaduna State, has been condemned to 14 years' detainment for tyke trafficking. The blamed was charged on two means deceitfully securing two underage youngsters from their folks. 

"Madaki along these lines sent one tyke to Lagos State in an unlawful appropriation course of action and the other to Abuja as a household specialist, in this way denying their folks of the youngsters. 

"The trial started on June 23, 2015, and on Monday, March 26, 2018, the court found the blamed blameworthy."
